Monster Summoning scroll

Most likely a very noobish question, but...

Where can I get a scroll of monster summoning in BG1? Is the only way to summon monsters in BG1 to use the monster summoning wand?

    It's worth noting, though, that the Monster Summoning spells are pretty weak compared to the wand. Some other summoning spells are better, but the Monster Summoning line is pretty underwhelming, imo.

    Spider Spawn is pretty nice, especially if you combo it with a Web.

    Other than that, summoning magic doesn't make much of an impact until BG2. That said the Wand of Summoning is very useful in BG1 to create meat shields in dangerous encounters.

    Oh I forgot, the lv4 Druid Spell, Call Woodland Being, is pretty nice too. The nymph is fragile, but she has some pretty useful spells in her arsenal, including Mass Cure.

    Gotta love the 4th level spell that can cast a 5th level spell.

    Don't forget the third level priest spell Summon Undead. Undead creatures are very effective against opponents that can charm your party. Their also immune to poison. Though I find it odd that they can be confused.
