VG Cats nails it. Saw this comic and couldn't help but think of the Baldur's Gate games in particular.

Anyone else end up hoarding limited use items and never using them? I sure do that a lot…

    Potions. So many potions. Thats why now I just use them up whenever I get them. I was only ever going to use them during extremely rare battles anyways. Might as well get some use out of them this way.

    This speaks to me. Even in solo no-reload runs where potions are extremely necessary, I STILL avoid drinking potions.

    I understand how this works, but I personally never liked hoarding useful items. I actually enjoy using potions/wands/scrolls/rings/amulets whenever they would be useful, i.e. the enemy party, assassins and the like.
