Create a feature request (to make them immune), and our triage team will decide. :)

As far as I know, they can be poisoned. Nothing in their stats says they are immune. So yes, you *can* poison spiders.

Real life spiders can be poisoned too. From what I understand most venomous animals are not immune to their own venom. They make it and keep it isolated from the rest of their systems. They can ingest it too, I guess, without ill effects, but their intestines are probably designed for handling it. If a snake's own venom got loose in their blood stream I don't think they would be too happy...

Yup, poison works just fine on spiders.
@Tresset Venom is a special case. It won't hurt anyone if they drink it (Tastes like metal). The difference between poinson and venom is that venom HAS to get into the bloodstream to hurt. A strong enough poison can kill just by contact with the skin.

Yup. Their AD&D/D&D stats says no special defenses re:poison. So, the system is working as intended.

    hi just a quick question.

the preview window doesn't work in the toolset since i recently purchased the game.

technical support has told me that they will just refund the game rather than fix the issue.

i'm a bit disappointed, because i has assumed they could just fix the preview window so that i could keep and use the game. my heart had been set on building a module with areas, but i can't see the what the tiles look like without a preview window. i guess there is no technical support for this game. if a technical support issue arises, then a refund is the only option.

how do you deal with technical support issues? do you tell people to just get a refund?

    thanks for listening.

Heheh. Thanks, they told me they couldn't keep enough of my blood type on the shelf. :) Maybe somebody will make will make good use of it at least. Alot of my family lives 'down the mountain' from me on the coast here in NC, and they've got a potential Cat 4 hurricane aiming for a direct hit on Thursday so they just might.

Kudos! I missed the "blood bus" when it came to work last time. I've only just started to donate blood and feel bad that I missed this one. That's amazing work you've done Zaghoul!

@skatan Thanks. Kind of a good feeling after in a way, ain't it (well, if ya take it easy afterwards anyways that is). :)

The first time I did it, well so far the only time since I missed the second time, I felt weak for liike four days afterwards. It was a strange fatigue I had never felt before. Do you get used to it or do you still feel the same @Zaghoul?

On whole blood donations I usually took just a day or so to recover but I switched to double red donations some time back. I like those much better. They use an apheresis machine that most RC's have. It extracts your RBC's and then returns everything else to you, with the addition of a little saline so that you really have no loss in total fluid volume like whole blood donations. With these I feel about the same as I went in afterwards. Takes maybe 30 min, but really is the quickest recovery. Lots of extra fluids and iron rich foods may help the day you donate and all day after for whole blood donations. Check to see if they do doubles where you are. It really is the best and gets ya front line status on the wait time. :)

OK, I'm still very novice so haven't heard about that. Not sure if they do that here. Maybe I'll ask them next time around. Do you have an uncommon blood type?
    • Zaghoul
      Zaghoul
I'm actually a universal donor, O. But the RC ran short this year for some reason and needs alot.
    • Zaghoul
      Zaghoul
The RC was doing a promotion for $5 Amazon Gift cards for those that donated this last time, but they just sent me one for $15 instead. Not sure if it was because they were low on type O blood or because I did a double, but it was a nice surprise.

  • Does anyone else have trouble staying dedicated to one project? I have like ~5 modding projects going right now, and I can never seem to finish any one of them. I eventually get bored and either flip to another one, or create a new one entirely, which in turn never gets finished as well. I'm starting to think there is something wrong with me! :D

Maybe I'm just nervous to share anything I create, so I unconsciously keep everything in a perpetual state of incompletion, hmm... :p

I'm no modder Bubb, but perhaps sharing your unfinished mods will be a great way to get some input and some reflections that can spur your energy to finish them? Perhaps that is the last piece of the puzzle you need. Your choice of course, just some friendly advice.

Without knowing what you are attempting to mod, maybe the issue is the project is too grand and complex to actually complete. If you perhaps simplify one of your ideas you may be able to actually complete it and share it. Then you can either attempt to expand that idea, or start a new project that can eventually be tied to the first one. It also helps to focus on one project at a time. Think about attempting to play 5 games at the same time. You’ll never complete them all as each one is competing for your time. Playing one game first (even though you really really want to try the next game) will be more fulfilling since you’ll be able to complete it sooner, and you have something to look forward to when you do.
