Project Q Update - HOLDING FOR NOW

I've talked to Meaglyn and its apparent I jumped the gun on this whole update to Q v2.3. I should have tried harder to reach out to him first, but, what can I say, I get excited and forged ahead. My bad.

Until we can work out the details, any big update is on hold.

I think most people are happy with creatures working the way it does. Maybe a !creatures that changes the overrides to separate appearances would be best to not break everything backwards.

    Can you explain why?
  • Integration. Meaglyn has Q in a GIT Repository for tracking changes. The patch and hotfix I uploaded need to be uploaded into that and then we can start coordinating any "fixes" I find. This is how I envision this process working:
    1. I find something that appears to be a bug or in need of fixing/tweaking.
    2. I message Meaglyn to make sure it hasn't been fixed already and confirm it is indeed a bug.
    3. If Meaglyn gives me the thumbs up, I fix it and send it back to him.
    4. He deposits it into the GIT Repository and logs the revision.
    5. I log the change in my own revision log (this just tracks the changes I've done for my own reference).

Yeah... We're working on it. Slowly. There are other priorities as well that are keeping me busy. An update is planned but since nwnee is still a moving target we are not pushing hard right now.
