anybody know how I can change my characters race mid game on the mobile version of bg2?

    The key to it, of course, is finding a way for a save-editing tool to get at your saved game. Once you do that, you edit it, load the new save, and you're set. I have no familiarity with the mobile versions, so I can't help you except to point to the modding forums; what you're looking for should be there.

    Note that some racial bonuses, such as shorty saves, won't update until you level up with your new race. Don't worry too much if some things are off at first.
