BG2 Items in BG:EE

Hi there,

Sorry if this has been addressed, I've been trying to find anything on it for about half an hour. For various reasons I want to utilize some items from BG2, however, any time I enter an item code from BG2 into the CLUAConsole (such as CHAN12, or BAG04), I get "item not found."

I've seen a number of people however doing this without issue. Am I missing something? Since BG:EE is built on top of BG2's engine I would assume the items are also there, is this wrong or what can I do?

    Some BG2 items are not there. I recommend you use some editor to search the items with their in game name or description to see if they exist or not.

    Using Shadowkeeper to edit your save game would be your best bet. A lot of items and spells are in but some are not.

    I've used CHAN12 and it worked for me.
