Has it been mentioned that they actually made an animated movie of Dragonlance?

I forgot about that movie. I think it's absolutely terrible.
    However.
I also love it to death. Objectively it's "meh." Objectively it's fun to watch for me! XD
I've got kind of the same reaction. Considering the cast, (Kiefer Sutherland, Lucy Lawless etc...) I really REALLY wanted to like this movie. And I've watched it a few times and even own the DVD, so I must enjoy it on some level. But then again I have the entire MST3K Gamera series on DVD, so quite what that says for my tastes is something else entirely.

Personally, I am waiting for the Finieous Fingers animated movie staring Bruce Campbell in the titular role, myself.

Absolutely yes to this. In fact, all of the Ray Harryhausen films should be on the list.

    Jason and the Argonauts
Clash of the Titans (the original)
    7th Voyage of Sinbad
Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger

Just to name a few. All classic adventure stories and worth adding to the list above.

@the_spyder Oh yes, absolutely! The fight against the skeletons in "Jason and the Argonauts" (done through stop-motion animation) is just something else!
