From a programmer's viewpoint, it is slightly easier because some common functions are already done. But it is still not entirely trivial. Especially character generation/level up. (View Post)3 -

This requires the engine source code or exe hacking, so Beamdog can create new classes. Also people who made stuff like ToBEx can do that. Modders can do "only" scripting. New multi classes… (View Post)5 -

Well, we just opened up the monk and the sorcerer for kits, why would we immediately create a new unmoddable class? I mean, it would actually take some efforts to disable that. (View Post)6 -

The AI is part of game data (not the engine). Like dialogue. So this isn't automatic. Before you say, this sucks, consider that this is what made SCS possible in the first place. (View Post)2 -
