I love Neera.
I think Beamdog is a great company.
Once there was a time when transphobes and #ggers overran the forums, and there were people who thanked me for fighting back against them. I love them. I hold the fact I did something worthwhile for them close to my heart.
I do not have it in me to do this anymore. I can't shrug off things I once would have. That's not anyone's fault. It just is what it is.
I'm not a big part of the forums and won't be missed. If someone remembers something I said fondly, I'm glad for that.
But I do want to say that there never a point where my words were not genuine.
Goodbye, all. I'm not deluded about how few might ever see this, but for those that do and those who don't alike: I wish you nothing but the best. Take care of yourselves.

Re: Why CRPGs are so niche compared to Bethesda games and JRPGs?
And as I said, any definition of RPGs that excludes a huge percentage of games that are marketed as, sold as, and consumed as RPGs is a flawed definition. (Also, the JRPG and WRPG terms are extremely… (View Post)1 -
Re: Why CRPGs are so niche compared to Bethesda games and JRPGs?
Baldur's Gate is pretty borderline too. You have no choice over your parentage, over the fact Imoen is your beloved sister-figure, over the fact you've been living in Candlekeep for 20 years, and ove… (View Post)3
