I love Neera.
I think Beamdog is a great company.
Once there was a time when transphobes and #ggers overran the forums, and there were people who thanked me for fighting back against them. I love them. I hold the fact I did something worthwhile for them close to my heart.
I do not have it in me to do this anymore. I can't shrug off things I once would have. That's not anyone's fault. It just is what it is.
I'm not a big part of the forums and won't be missed. If someone remembers something I said fondly, I'm glad for that.
But I do want to say that there never a point where my words were not genuine.
Goodbye, all. I'm not deluded about how few might ever see this, but for those that do and those who don't alike: I wish you nothing but the best. Take care of yourselves.

First off, what PR nightmare? The people pissed off about this are by and large the exact same people who were going to be pissed off by SoD anyways. We didn't need any writer talking about their pol… (View Post)2 -
Re: Has the controversy made you more hesitant towards buying Siege of Dragonspear?
Of course it's meaningless. It's a made-up term used by channers and particularly by GGers to describe anybody who disagrees with them on any issue related to racism/sexism/etc.. It has literally no … (View Post)2 -
Re: Has the controversy made you more hesitant towards buying Siege of Dragonspear?
The people pitching a fit over the existence of a transgender character aren't part of my community. Most of them weren't part of this community, either. To hell with them. Every writer writes their … (View Post)10
