I love Neera.
I think Beamdog is a great company.
Once there was a time when transphobes and #ggers overran the forums, and there were people who thanked me for fighting back against them. I love them. I hold the fact I did something worthwhile for them close to my heart.
I do not have it in me to do this anymore. I can't shrug off things I once would have. That's not anyone's fault. It just is what it is.
I'm not a big part of the forums and won't be missed. If someone remembers something I said fondly, I'm glad for that.
But I do want to say that there never a point where my words were not genuine.
Goodbye, all. I'm not deluded about how few might ever see this, but for those that do and those who don't alike: I wish you nothing but the best. Take care of yourselves.

Re: Beamdog's Official Statement (4-6-2016)

So you, as someone who "stands by transsexuals", think that is acceptable behaviour? That the existence of a minor NPC in a video game, regardless of why that minor NPC exists, justifies cr… (View Post)2 -
Re: Trans person responds to Amber Scott and the other writers
There is an AWFUL lot of wrong in those sentences. Let's unpack it a little. 1) Why put a trans character in a game? Because the game is intended to reflect the real world; the real world has trans p… (View Post)3 -
Re: Trans person responds to Amber Scott and the other writers
People have posted numerous other examples from the original game where charname doesn't get a dialogue option to be rude to NPCs talking to them. Why, pray tell, is this one so different? Because pe… (View Post)2
