There's a really cryptic reference by that Ghoul in Durlag's Tower about his death gaze, but it doesn;t tell you what it does. Regardless, you know about the 'gaze' and so could feasibly be prepared. (View Post)

You get a Plate of the Dark from it too, which is the highest AC armour in the game. Far more useful. (View Post)
