I've never tried SCS before. But I'm planning to go through it once the NPC Pack comes out, that way I can capitalise on tougher battles and more in-depth NPCs at the same time :) (View Post)

BG2 tweaks has a component that allows you to stop characters leaving due to reputation, I believe. Also, if you can get the cursed helm of opposite alignment then you can put that on him. (View Post)
