Ha ha! Decided to try out a Asheron’s Call emulator that someone is hosting. First thing is to make a character. Hmm… Sat racking my brain for 20 minutes as I tried to remember how things worked in that game. It’s been a very long time…
Finally decided to just jump in with a Life mage. Surely it will all come back to me as I start playing. Hubby, myself, my son, along with several friends all played that game for years.
As the old familiar portal sounds began to spin me in, I was flooded with sweet nostalgia. Yeah what fun!
Hit the ground just in time to see a popup message:
Server shutting down for an update.
Sigh…

I also have very good hardware and the clunkiness that I’m experiencing moving inventory items is terrible. An old game like this should not be giving anyone trouble, even if they have older hardware… (View Post)1 -
