Backstabbing only works with "Thief Weapons". Bash somebody upside the head with a quarterstaff, that'll mess them up. Do the same thing with a mace and they'll probably walk away just fine. (View Post)

I think I know what happened there. The Ogre Mage is invisible. When it sees you it attacks, revealing itself. Since you are also invisible though you just passed by eachother without noticing. (View Post)
