I have recently caught interest for the Totemic Druid. I have been playing him since yesterday starting in BGEE. I have been loving him so far. I have always been interested in a powerful spellcasting class that focus on summons. I have been reading the Tale of the Totemic Druid, and I really love it. A shame I didn't find this earlier. Lovely material for a tuesday reading!
A promote is basically a special "like" that only moderators and developers can give. It is worth 5 points and will automatically put the promoted post in the "best of" section. This way promotes are useful for bringing attention to important posts. Aside from this we also often use promotes as sort of "super like". We don't really have hard and fast rules about how to use promotes so it is basically up to whoever has the power to give them to decide for themselves how to use their promotes.
- Siege of Dragonspear has random encounters that are handcrafted. Is that something you would consider?
Josh Sawyer: Oh yeah, those are cool. We've talked about random encounters and people definitely have different ideas of what that means. Some people think "this is filler," something that interrupts you in a random place and you just fight a bunch of guys, and it's unmemorable. But with a random encounter, randomness can just mean when it happens or exactly where it happens. It can still be handcrafted content for a little cool story with a memorable thing in it. That's what you want all your content to ideally be, but that can still be semi-random in where and when you encounter it. Something like that I think is cool and, yeah, I wouldn't be opposed to it.
