The real problem is that stat increases scale really, really badly in 2nd edition AD&D. Taking your DEX from 10 to 14 has little effect but going from 14 to 18 buys you a whopping 4 points to AC.… (View Post)

The fighter's high APR and (eventually) strong melee HLAs make fighter/thief strong, for sure. FMT is interesting as well for invisibility (at-will backstabs) and stoneskin (melee invulnerability). (View Post)
