Containers and Charged Items

Greetings!
If I find an identified item (like a wand) in a container (a crate, a barrel, and so on), the number of charges doesn't show. Likewise, if such an item is in my inventory when I open a container, the charge count doesn't show. Please show the charge count!
This applies to BGEE and BG2EE.
