Inventory: send selected item to party member via keyboard shortcut

An idea that came up while a clicking orgy when cleaning up inventory:
what if one could click on an item in the inventory of character 1, then press a key-combination like shift+2 to send the item to the inventory of the second party member? it would significantly speed things up, reducing point and click and especially mouse movement quite a lot.
(i'm aware you can hit 1-6 while having selected an item, that's halfway the feature i was thinking of already)
