[Known 7134] Vocalize Uncastable when Silenced

edited September 2014 in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
Current Behavior
Vocalize cannot be cast when the caster has been Silenced.

Expected Behavior
When affected by a Silence spell, casters should be able to cast Vocalize, enabling them to cast other spells.

EDIT: I've uploaded the saved game with my PC and Edwin silenced.

If you edit the spell in Near Infinity you can set the flag "ex: castable when silenced (25)"; this flag is not visible in DLTCEP (as far as I can tell). Although I do need to test that this flag will correct the spell it appears that it should.

It is visible, but not named. You can write 512 in the 'not in combat' numeric field. Or if there is a nonzero, add 512 to it.

@Avenger_teambg again you have our thanks.

I just tested and setting this flag works perfectly--I created a cleric/mage, silenced himself, then cast vocalize with no problems. Attached is the corrected version of spwi219, if anyone wants it.

which folder do you put that file in?

You have to make an override folder and put it in that.

Where that is will depend on your platform. Though its referring to BGEE the location for BG2EE will be similar so this might be of some help
