Hey, Comrade. Want more stable gameplay? Here's what's here, this is a compilation of almost-all recent fixes for BG:EE v2014. Lookie here this is not an advertisment this is just a patch to fix most problems found in 2014 update.

IMPORTANT: FIX #2, #3, #4, AND #5 REQUIRES A GAME RESTART MEANING A NEW GAME.

THINGS TO NOTE -> THESE FILES ARE ONLY APPLICABLE TO BG:EE v2014
THINGS TO NOTE -> Hardware cursor is much faster and more responsive than the software cursor on all platforms
THINGS TO NOTE -> Only choose one version type of Flashheart's fix

FIX OVERVIEW

#1- Fixed persistent disappearing cursor for intel-chipsets and other cards (Applies-To-All-Vista-And-XP-Users)
#2- Fixed firebead quest
#3- Rasaad kit is now updated to 'PROPER' sun soul monk kit
#4- Fixed halfling wis bug and limited rolls on dex and cha for dwarf classes
#5- Fixed an instance where Laurel won't talk to you
#6- Fixed an instance where wyvern death cause BG:EE to go CoD
#7- Fixed churning noise on BG City E section

This adds a degree of standardisation for the icons. All icons will be small.

HOW TO INSTALL(?):

#1 Extract and put the files of Jalily, Balquo, (Balquo and Avenger_teambg), Miloch, aVENGER, and Flashheart in your BG:EE 'override' folder
#2 Extract Requiem file and run setup.exe

    I'd just like to add that the disappearing cursor bug affects a lot of Vista users with other graphics cards (not just intel). The fixes linked fixes it for all Vista users.

    Also note that the hardware cursor is much faster and more responsive than the software cursor on all platforms.

    Err, you do realize that there's already an official thread that has most of these fixes? The only things it doesn't have are #2 and #3, and #3 is really more of a mod than a fix anyways.

    Edit: I meant to say number 1 and 3, not 2 and 3. Also, my link doesn't seem to be working. The thread I was talking about is: forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/19019/temporary-fixes-for-bugs-present-in-v2014

    Yeah, I'm aware of that. I'm just merging all fixes into one thread. This is for the community of course, a goodwill for the lost spirits. If I'm not helping you in anyway, I'm sorry.

    The fix for the disappearing cursor bug (i.e. software cursor) can slow anyone's game down quite a bit. The replacement BAMs are a far better fix. I wouldn't have spent upwards of 12 hours fixing it otherwise. ;)

    Don't get me wrong, I think that combining all the fixes into one convenient thread is a good idea. It's just this has pretty much been done already in the other thread I was talking about. That being said, if you want to take the time to make another one, by all means go for it.
