Can't Import/Export on Console (PS4)

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I can't seem to figure out how to import a character that isn't from a game file on PS4. I click "export" in game, it gives me a message that the character was exported, and then it is nowhere to be found in BG1EE when I try to import on the character creation screen. Any suggestions? Is it a bug that I am unaware of?

    Nevermind. I had to click the "Characters" box, I got a loading screen, saw the character, and then it was finally available. Sorry.

    I also had an issue with this . im on ps4 played same character from bg1 to sods at the end of sods i tried to export . it comfirms export i cant find my character in the character screen

    i have another question on PS4: i finished the game and now i'd like to try legacy of baahl difficult.
    i imported my character several times , and now i'm ok with choices, how i delete character that are useless?
