in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
We have done the Air Lab and the Slime Lab, and wanted to head on to the Ice Lab. We opened the NE door of the Ice Lab easily enough, but we cannot open the NW one. Game Banshee says that having the slime Sceptre will let us open the second door, but that's not happening. What are we missing here?

    Don’t you need the ice scepter from the ice golem?

    Game Banshee is usually pretty reliable and they say not. I 'll look around more.

    OK you were right. Killing the Ice Golem allowed us to open the other door. I'll have to do the scenario over again, though; the golem seems not to have dropped the Ice Sceptre. No idea why.
