Weird level-up bug [modded game]

I noticed something strange in one of my BG campaigns. My protagonist in this game is an elven Fighter-Mage and something weird did occur when passing the 8000/8000 xp mark. At that point, she progresses from F3/M3 to F4/M3 yet something strange happens: she gains a fighter level, but at level up I get one extra level 1 and one extra level 2 spell slot, just as if she progresses from Mage 3 to Mage 4.

When progressing from Mage 3 to Mage 4 at 10.000/10.000 xp I got the extra slots I should have, but because of the bug when gaining a Fighter level, I had a F/M with 4/3/0 spell slots at Mage level 4.

I played through without having noticed that not everything wasn't as it should be, then when I got to level 5 Mage (F5/M5) I noticed I got two level 3 slots at once! Now I have a F5/M5 with 5/3/2 spells slots!

I went through my past saves and saw the bug started to appear at the 8000/8000 xp mark, like described above.

Can anyone tell me why this did happen and more important, how I can stop this bug (besides EEKeeping out all the excess slots - which I just did)?

WeiDU of my game attached (I managed to upload it by changing the extention from .log to .txt).

You have a mod that "unnerfs" the mage spell table: I suspect it's that.

I haven't got the un-nerf option installed, but the PnP progression option for all caster classes. I have always used the PnP spell progression option ever since my first modded game (when the mod was still called BG2Tweaks), yet I've never run into this strange bug using it. But maybe it's a bug from the Beta of v5. I can see in my WeiDU-log I have version 'Beta 5 BWP Fix' of CDTweaks, but according to the Tweak Anthology homepage, the current version is 4: http://www.gibberlings3.net/tweaks/

I see in my mod folder I did use version 5 beta instead of the version 4 from the project page, I wonder where I did get it from, maybe directly from GitHub? I should have stuck to the stable version 4 :/ .

Are you sure you're not kitted? Any kit applied to a multiclass mage will give extra slots as the engine reads it as a specialist.

Yes, that's what I thought, maybe the engine reads my Fighter/Mage as having a kit, but when I check the game file with EEKeeper, it does read as Fighter/Mage with Kit: Fighter in the kit-slot. I can't see any way the engine could think my character is kitted.
