Bug with Dorn?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Today when I initialized the game, Steam updated to the 2.5 Update Beta. No problems happened to load the game I've been playing for the past month.

I'm at level 3 of Durlag's Tower and whenever I move my party, Dorn does not follow (he just stays where he is, like he has something to say). Charname also has problems moving and saving is also impossible because it says "cannot save game while in dialog mode".

I then decided to load an older version of my game to see where it goes wrong. Start of Prologue, Chapters 1, 2 and 3 are okay, but from Chapter 4 (that's when Dorn joins the party) on it is bugged.

How do I fix this? I don't mind "cheating" to solve my problem, I do mind not being able to beat the demon knight wity my most powerful character.

PS: Last night the game was running smoothly.
