What are up to date tutorials to create a kit?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
After sooooo many years I want to play badur's gate again, but I would like to customize my kits. The tutorial I found are a bit old and I'm not sure if they are going to work with the last version of the game.

Also, what mods would you really advise me?

    Tweaks Anthology (many, many settings to customize your game), SCS (if you like a challenge, makes the AI a LOT better), Ascension (to change the final battle).

    I use EE Mod Setup Tool, which is the updated Bigworld installer, basically it'll automatically check for updates to your mods, then compare all the various changes and optimize the order of installation, remove script clashes and the like, for what will hopefully be a smooth install.
