Skulls not dropping from killed NPCs - problem with Lothar's quest

in Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition
Hi all, I have a problem with the skull quest for Lothar - I've killed Mantuok but his skull does not appear to drop. I'm hesitant to kill any of the other candidates because I like the characters :) Here's a screenshot:
Soego's skull also doesn't seem to have dropped. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    No one else has run into this problem? I've reloaded and killed Mantuok again but no difference.

    I may be wrong, but I think you can only get Mantuok's skull when you encounter him underneath Lothar's abode. If you can't find him there anymore, then you have probably no choice but finding another skull. You can find several potential candidates in the Dead Nations (e.g. Acaste).

    @argent77 thanks! I did read about the skull dropping elsewhere. I will try acaste then!
