How do you escape from cutscenes?

Windows has an Esc key which allows you to escape from cutscenes (unless the author disables it).

That can be very important to avoid repetition or work around bugs.

How does that work in the Android version?

    You can skip movies by tapping on the screen. However, I believe that it comes down to the type of device you're using. If you have a "back" key of some kind, I suggest trying that.

    I can't quite give you a definitive answer, as it comes down to the device you're using, but most cutscenes I'm able to skip by hitting the touch-button that looks like an arrow 180 turning on itself (On a Samsung Galaxy tab 3)

    Excellent!

    On my Pixel C tablet, swiping up from the lower edge of the screen in game reveals the standard Android buttons. The back button, which looks like a left-pointing triangle, acts as an escape key.
