Storm Shield & Fire Storm - Question!

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi BG'ers!

I have read that Fire Storm ignores Magic Resistance, does that mean Fire Storm also bypasses the Priest of Talos kit ability, Storm Shield? Can anyone give some insight here? Thanks in advance!

    Storm shield gives specific protection against elemental effects - Fire Storm does not bypass elemental resistance, but only general magic resistance.

    Man, I love the Priest of Talos kit / Storm Shield ability. Being able to walk into the middle of a pack of enemies and rain down Fireballs, Lightening Bolts and Fire Storms without a care in the world is game breakingly fun. ^_^
