Screen not working

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
A small section of the screen in the middle right hand side is not responsive when I move the curser over that area any feed back would be helpful.

    Try tabbing out and back in to the game. For some reason the win10 / steam whatever notifications that pop up at the beginning apparently cause that but a couple of alt-tabs fixes it.

    Thank you Lammas that worked a treat. I have been playing the game for ages with this problem and was unable to find any fixes.
