Prologue text is too fast

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
The text in the prologue ("Nestled atop the cliffs...") is going too fast compared to the narrator. The voice continues after text has already disappeared. It is impossible to read and listen at the same time.

    True, just close your eyes and listen. That's what I do.

    I just noticed the other day that some of these texts (not the prologue) are different depending on your alignment, nice touch.
