Fighter/Druid asked to do the Druid challenge, despite not having the Druid stronghold

This just happened:

Near the end of chapter 6 in Shadows of Amn, my multiclass Fighter/Druid reached 1,500,000 XP in both her classes, making her a level 14 druid. She was immediately approached by a Druid and summoned to the Druid Grove to complete her challenge.

She had taken the DeArnise Keep as her stronghold and didn't have the Druid stronghold so I am just wondering if this is correct functionality?

    Yep, as far as I know the druid challenge is not linked to the druid stronghold - any druid player-character with a high enough level should be able to do it.

    Correct, the druid challenge is separate from the stronghold quest.
