Do we need to fix bugs or mod the game before fresh start?

Hi All

I and my 2 friends will start the game soon! BG 1EE to BG2

Do we need to make bug fixing? or new EE has all most common fixes?

    Good question, I am curious also.  I have the 4 in 1 boxed DVD set, BG + ToSC + BGII SoA + BG II ToB.
    Which [if any] ??
