simple EEKeeper question: variables to make a dualed mage a Trasnmuter?

Been away from this game for about five or six years, so I kind of forgot some basic stuff...

In a BGEE game I just completed I made dual classed Transmuter 5/Fighter 8. I enjoy playing specialist mages that always memorize at least half of their spells from their chosen school. That twist adds a bit of a challenge that I like. It was fun, because he relied a lot on spells that are dangerous to live by such as Color Spay and Shocking Grasp. This was fine for BGEE.

But to take him on into BG2EE I'd rather switch the classes around so that he can get unlimited spell progression. So for the BG2EE game, by leveling up the same abilities build in BGEE, I started with Fighter and at level 6 dualed to Mage. However, I forgot that when you dual class you can't pick a mage specialization.

I still want him to be a Transmuter versus a vanilla mage. Are there variables I can slap on him via EEKeeper to make him a Transmuter?

Sure, after you start BG2, open up your save game, and go to the second tab. In that, change the kit to transmuter. Next, go to the effects tab, and select "Add Kit Effects", then select transmuter, and select the appropriate levels (001 to your mage's current level). And that's it!

    Thanks @Rik_Kirtaniya!

I selected the Transmuter kit, but under Effects > Add Kit Effects I'm not finding Transmuter appearing among the options in the dropdown menu.

Hopefully just assigning the kit will be enough, I'll check it out in-game to see what it looks like.

The Transmuter doesn't have any effects or innate abilities to be added.

By the way, the whole process is smoother if you change to the kit in your new class before dual-classing. That way, level 1 effects for the new kit are applied automatically when you dual-class. There are a few kits that don't work properly this way (Swashbuckler is the worst), but in most cases you can just choose the kit in EEKeeper, dual-class, and go on without even needing to change anything more.
