Oh, and CCR for a long road trip. They've been permanently kept in my four disc changer.

The Smiths/Moz (Same thing, shut up)

Does that mean you won't hate me if I say I like solo Moz even better than The Smiths?

It's very hard to pick just three, but I'd probably choose U2, Bowie and Siouxsie & The Banshees. Followed closely by Morrissey/Smiths, Beatles and Stones.

3 of them are Savatage, Opeth, and Rotting Christ.

If i must use "bands". I prefer songs, and rarely i like a lot from a single band. These 3 are an exception though, among others :p

    - That is without counting the epic orchestral songs that make me grab a sword and charge in the air like a moron.

Whoa, a lot of death metal lovers here. I'm more of a prog man myself:

    3. Pink Floyd

    2. Jethro Tull

    1. Genesis

Honorable mentions go to Yes, King Crimson, Rush. Prog Rock is the ultimate form of music imho.

I believe I'm the only person on the forum who listens to rap, so my favorite hip-hop artists would be...

    Kanye West
    B.o.B
    Pre-2010 Eminem.

But if it must be full bands, then...

    Weezer
    Franz Ferdinand
Jonathan Coulton (If he doesn't count because he's one person, then replaced with The Presidents Of The United States of America).
