How do I delete exported character's that I don't need? (Esp the ones that come with the game).

  you can't delete them, worse off, if you do delete them, the game will not work correctly, i have no idea why beamdog did that, but that is the way it is
  
  at least this is how it worked last time this was talked about
  
  the best thing you can do is just rewrite them with your own exported characters so at least the mess of characters are your own and not just a bunch of nonsense fodder

  The characters you've created are in "My Documents/Baldurs Gate - Enhanced Edition/Characters" by defualt.
  
  The characters that the game comes with are stored separately, elsewhere.
  
  You can definitely delete at least the characters of your own creation. I've done that much.
