in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
It's documented that in EE Elkart can be blackmailed in chapter 5 if you've rescued Skie but she's not in the party. Does it still work if she has died?

    i want to say that you need both eldoth and skie in the party when you talk to elkart to trigger this quest

    once it has been triggered, then perhaps you do not need skie anymore?
