BWS or alternative? Recommended mods

Just after some quick advice - I am playing EET. Just wondering whether I should use BWS as a mod manager, or an alternative. I'd like to be able to get all the recommended mods and ensure compatibility with each other. If it's better to install them separately, I can do that too.
