So why are none (save the kid and that mage) good. Everybody seems to be evil!

    Originally BG had four single class wizard npcs : Dynaheir (Lawful Good) , Xan (Lawful neutral) , Xzar (Chaotic evil) and Edwin (Lawful Evil) , in the alignment axis these choices covered basically any party combination. It was BGEE that added Neera and Baeloth, thus offering an extra neutral and an evil choice, limiting good mage choices to Dynaheir.

    On the other hand, you can dual class Imoen and get yourself another good aligned mage!
