Neverwinter nights ee ps4 anti magic glitch

In Hordes of the Underdark on ps4 when ya enter the anti magic room. Ya can eventually turn magic back on and can cast spells again, but magic items still dont work. Left room, re loaded game and it happened again. What am i doing wrong? And by items not working. The ring of protection provides no ac bonus, my magic scrolls are blank pages now. Everything is now nothing essentually.
