Quick question - Backstab.2da - Assassin only x5?

Hey guys, only a quick question here.

I am... confused.

We all know that at level 21, Assassin's get their x7 backstab modifier.

My question is, why is it that when I look at BACKSTAB.2da in Near Infinity, the highest multiplier is x5?

Absolutely everything else appears correct on the table, except where I'd expect there to be '6's or '7's, there are just '5's instead. So the Assassin table actually reads '5' from level 13 to 40.

Am I being dense? is there a reason for this? I'm *pretty* sure I don't have a mod that would effect any of this, as I've only installed the Tweak Anthology pack, and there's nothing regarding backstabbing in there, is there?

Anyway, any information would be hugely appreciated, as I'm pretty perplexed.

Thanks for reading!

Backstab progression is managed by SPCL332.SPL and CLABTH02.2da.

wow, ok thank you for the info! I have no idea where I read that BACKSTAB.2da was responsible for progression, but I could have sworn it was. Anyway, thank you for clearing this up for me :)

backstab.2da is the common table used to define backstab multiplier for regular thieves. In addition, ckabth02.2da applies bonus to assassins (spell332).
