UI scaling

I play NWN EE steam version in 1920x1080 resolusion, and the game has only 2 options for UI scaling: 1 and 2.
Scale 1 UI is too small, especially on my 15.6'' laptop display. Scale 2 is too big, f.e. opening inventory or journal or character record closes the bottom messages window so you can't see messages.
Is there any way to scale UI between 1 and 2? 1.5 would be fine, i guess.
Do Beamdog consider to add such functionality?

except "complete UI overhaul" card which is not necessarily implies UI scaling

    Yep, I agree with this. (There's also the weird issue on Mac OS 10.14.6 with the mouse pointer not correctly mapping to the screen unless you enable- and then disable window mode).
