Problems installing Item Upgrade w/ SCS

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I installed SCS successfully then tried to install Item Upgrade v45 (latest). I had errors with the item upgrade exe.

Am I supposed to install Item Upgrade BEFORE SCS?
