Jaheira quest bug!! help plx

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Iam to enter the inn that ployer waiting to put the curse on jaheira...but when the mage guy cast the spell to jaheira ....as the spell land..instead of going on with the dialogue jaheira disappear and the game "freezes" like the point before the death cinematic take part....but without popping the load/quit option....and i have to alt+f4...any1 knows how to fix this bug?

    nevermind i loaded a bit back before i enter dock area and now it is fixed

    Hello, now I have the same problem and loading older saved games doesn't help. When the Baron curses Jaheira the game crashes. Always. I tried to lower graphics quality and play in window mode, it didn't help Game version is 2.5.16.6

    I've never heard of this bug before. Do you guys have any mods installed?
