TRA file question

Is it acceptable to have a space between entries in the TRA file?
I uses spaces in item and spell descriptions because they are part of the text.

However, it is difficult to find specific entries if I don't put some space between them as well.
Reviewing my previous work, from 5-6 years ago, it looks like there are no spaces between entries.
Am I being over cautious, or is this the way it must be? Can I do what the image shows below?

    bumping this.

    WIEDU Two questions.

    1) Can I skip numbers in my TRA file? I'd like to leave some room for updates within each mod.
    2) Can I have a space between text and the next entry (for my human eyes)
