Kingsmaker (Load Saved Game Issue)

Hi there,
Im having problems with the module "Kingsmaker". Having played quite awhile into the game now and "saved" and then "loaded" the saved game im running into the issue that im stuck in a "Camera angle scene". As I understand it these camera scenes are usually before the bright light appears speaking to you.
The game is running, and hasn't crashed but im stuck in the camera scene view with no ability to move, take action or anything but watch my own character.
This is the same for all my saved games on Kingsmaker atm (with the same char).
How do I go about solving this issue?
