What to do next? (Chapter 7)

I'm in Chapter 7 right now.

I have cleared the Iron Throne and defeated Cythandria, as well as Slythe from the Undercellar.

What is my next step?

    You should have picked up an invitation from Slythe and Krystin. That's for an important event taking place in the Ducal Palace (the big building in the north-central sector). You need to be there.

    OK yeah, I read that from one of the guides too that the final battle will take place in the palace.

    Not the final battle. It's the climax of the main plot, in which you either prevent the war or lose, but Sarevok gets away and he still has a personal vendetta against the Bhaalspawn. Remember, he's been sending assassins after you since the beginning if the game.

    There's still a dungeon maze, an underground ruin, and the final battle in an abandoned temple after the palace scene.
