Is Nalia some shapeshifter or is this a bug?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Just rested in a dungeon and this popped up out of nowhere. Nothing anywhere seems to indicate that she is a shapeshifter of some kind. Just wanted to check it out. :)

    If Nalia had Polymorph Self or Shapechange active, even if she was in her natural form, that's what happens when the spell's duration ends. Force a shift back to natural form and remove all of the abilities that were temporarily granted.

    That makes sense. Although, I have never cast Polymorph: self and I have auto cast spells disabled for all party members.
