Extra thief skill points

Especially in the case of single-classed characters, thieves get way more skill points than needed to get all their skills to 100%. I’m pretty sure pick pockets benefits from being higher than 100%, but are there any other skills that do?

    Yes. Stealth benefits up to about 200%, as hiding in broad daylight comes with big penalties. That's the average of Hide and Move Silently, by the way.

    Open Locks and Find Traps can theoretically benefit from higher scores, but that only applies to traps/locks with a difficulty greater than 100. Only one of each exist in the standard campaign (a nonessential door lock in Saradush, the trap at Sendai's entrance).

    Oi @jmerry I am pretty sure that a Open Doors/Find Traps skill requirement of over 100 leads to an automatic failure in the unmodded game. Am I wrong?

    A score of exactly 100 is an automatic fail; it's what the game uses for that. A score of over 100 isn't.
