Team AI has changed - Team just wait to be attacked?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I don't know what has changed but now the entire Team does not react when there are enemies around and will just wait to be attacked. I have to specifically click on Formation and Attack before they will do something.
How do I go back to what it was before - Team to auto attack enemies unless I say otherwise?

    There's a button on the side of the screen which turns party AI off and on. I've highlighted it with a red arrow in this screenshot.

    Most likely, you hit that button without noticing it.
